MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Aight, so check it. Alabama lawmakers done passed a plan for a new U.S. House primary, but it's all contingent on what the courts say about redistricting. They sayin' it's 'cause of legal challenges, but we know what's really goin' on.

This whole thing smells like some BS. They always try to play us when it comes to voting, try to make it harder for our voices to be heard. Redistricting is just another way to keep the power in their hands and keep us down.

Peeps was out there in front of the Statehouse on Friday, straight up yellin', "fight for democracy" and "down with white supremacy." That's real talk. 'Cause that's what it is. This ain't no game. This is about our lives, our communities, our future.

Them lawmakers, they ain't really lookin' out for us. They just tryin' to cover they own behinds and protect they positions. They don't care 'bout the struggle, the grind, the everyday hustle we gotta deal with.

This contingency plan, it's probably just a smokescreen. They'll say it's to make sure things run smooth, but we know it's probably gonna be designed to benefit them, not us.

We gotta stay woke, stay informed, and stay organized. They countin' on us to be sleep. We gotta let 'em know we see what they doin' and we ain't gonna stand for it. Our vote is our voice, and we gotta make sure it's heard.
