Bobby Cox Gone, Man: Braves Legend Done Passed Away at 84, RIP
Real talk, Bobby Cox, that Braves manager, ain't here no more, but that ATL legacy he built gon' live on, ya dig?

Aight, listen up. Bobby Cox, the OG manager for the Atlanta Braves, just dipped out, man. He was 84, so it ain't no real surprise, but still, gotta show respect to a legend. This dude built somethin' special down here in the A.
Cox took a team that was straight trash and turned 'em into kings. That '95 World Series? That was all him, man. He knew how to get the best outta his players, no cap. He had that old-school swag, you know? Kept it real. None of that soft stuff we seein' today.
The Braves put out a statement sayin', "Bobby was the best manager to ever wear a Braves uniform. He led our team to 14 straight division titles, five National League pennants, and the unforgettable World Series title in 1995. His Braves managerial legacy will never be matched." And they ain't lyin'. Fourteen straight division titles? That's straight up domination.
That run the Braves had in the '90s? That was somethin' else, man. Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, Chipper... Cox knew how to put 'em all together. He built a whole dynasty. That's why Atlanta still reppin' that team to this day.
He retired in 2010, but he always gon' be a part of the Braves family. Got that Hall of Fame nod in 2014, too. Deservedly so. Man put in work.
They said, "Bobby was a favorite among all in the baseball community, especially those who played for him. His wealth of knowledge on player development and the intricacies of managing the game were rewarded with the sport's ultimate prize in 2014 — enshrinement into the Baseball Hall of Fame." That's what happen when you keep it one hunnid and know yo' stuff.
2,504 wins, man. That's a whole lotta dubs. And 158 ejections? Dude wasn't afraid to stand up for his team. You gotta respect that.
Brian McCann said, "He is the Atlanta Braves. He's the best." And he ain't wrong. Cox was the heart and soul of that team. He made Atlanta a baseball town, for real.
Mccann said Cox was an "icon" and "one of the best human beings any of us have ever met." When folks who played for you sayin' that, you know you did somethin' right.
They retired his number 6 back in 2011. That's how you know you a legend, when they pull yo' number out the game. Forever a Brave.
He managed 16 postseason teams. Sixteen! Dude was a winner. He knew how to get it done when it mattered the most.
So, yeah, Bobby Cox gone, but he ain't forgotten. His legacy lives on in Atlanta. He showed the world what it means to build a team, to be a leader, and to keep it real, every single day. Rest in power, OG. We gon' miss you down here.
For real, tho, salute to Bobby Cox for changing the game. Showed everybody in Atlanta how to win, and we ain't forgot. Rest easy, king.
