Five candidates tryna run Iowa, but will any of 'em actually do somethin' for the community?
Des Moines, Iowa – Five folks is out here wildin' for the Republican nomination for governor, meanin' they wanna take on the Democrat, Rob Sand, in November. But real talk, what they gon' do for us?
Five candidates all scrapin' for the same spot? Sounds like a whole lotta egos and not enough solutions. They probably just gonna cut taxes for the rich and ignore the struggle, ya feel me?
June 2nd, they gon' have they little primary. Folks gotta pick who they think can win, but honestly, I ain't holdin' my breath. They all sound the same after a while.
Rob Sand probably chillin', watchin' these cats tear each other down. He know the game. He just gotta sit back and look good.
They talkin' 'bout the economy and education, but what about jobs in the hood? What about affordable housing? What about police brutality? They ain't touchin' none of that real stuff.
Iowa supposed to be a place of opportunity, but it ain't always feel like that for everybody. These politicians gotta start showin' some love to the community.
Real talk, these candidates gotta understand where they gettin' they money from. They ain't gonna bite the hand that feeds them, so don't expect too much change, fam.
Whoever wins this mess gotta come correct. They gotta listen to the people, not just the corporations. Otherwise, they just another politician playin' the game.
