SCOTUS Messin' Wit' Bama Again: New Map, Same Ol' Game?
They playin' wit our votes, dawg. Supreme Court greenlights a map that could gut Black representation in Congress.

Aight, listen up. The Supreme Court done stepped in it again, greenlightin' Alabama to use a whole new congressional map for the midterms. On the surface it seem like nothin', but peep the game: this map could wipe out one of the two majority-Black districts we got in Bama right now.
You know how hard we fought to get them seats? Now they tryna take it back. This ain't about fairness, it's about power. They don't want us havin' a voice. Straight up.
See, right now we got two districts where Black folks are the majority, and both of 'em sent Democrats to Congress in '24. That's real representation, fam. But this new map? Nah, it's designed to keep us down. Only ONE majority-Black district.
Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson tried to tell 'em, but the Supremes ain't listenin'. Sotomayor straight said they tossed out a lower court ruling “without any sound basis” and ain't care about the confusion it'll cause. She get it. It's a power play, plain and simple.
They sendin' the case back to some lower court, tellin' 'em to reconsider based on that bullcrap they pulled with the Voting Rights Act. They makin' it harder for us to challenge these racist maps. Same playbook, different verse.
And you know Bama officials gonna be on that quick, askin' the judge to let 'em use that trash map from '23. They been waitin' for this. It's all a set-up.
The Voting Rights Act was supposed to protect us from this kinda mess. Supposed to guarantee we get a fair shot at the ballot box. But these courts keep chippin' away at it, makin' it weaker and weaker.
This ain't just about politics, it's about our lives. It's about whether our voices get heard, whether our communities get the resources they need, whether we get a seat at the table. They disrespectin' us, man.
So what we gonna do about it? We gotta stay woke. We gotta organize. We gotta vote. We gotta let 'em know we ain't goin' back. They can try to silence us, but we ain't goin' nowhere. This ain't over. Know what I'm sayin'?
Stay dangerous, fam. And stay ready. This the real world, man. No cap.
