Supremes Still Playin' Games Wit' Abortion Pills: Mail-Order Options On Hold, Fam
Alito gave 'em a few more days to decide if folks can still get they meds sent straight to the crib – but the struggle real, y'all.

Aight, listen up. The Supreme Court, they up to they old tricks again. They playin' games wit' women's health, straight up. They gave themselves three more days to figure out if folks can still get abortion pills mailed to they spot. Justice Alito, he the one holdin' up the process, givin' the court more time to decide if telemedicine abortions gonna stay a thing or nah.
This all started when the 5th Circuit try to bring back them old rules, makin' folks go to a doctor in person just to get the pill. The FDA said that was some bull in 2021, but these states, they try to make it harder for folks to get the care they need.
Mifepristone, that's the main pill, and GenBioPro got the generic version. You take that wit' another pill, misoprostol, to end a pregnancy or manage a miscarriage. Telemedicine made it easier for folks to get these meds, 'cause they can just talk to a doctor online or on the phone, get a prescription, and have the pills mailed to they crib or pick 'em up at the pharmacy.
Louisiana, they trippin', sayin' mail-order pills messin' wit' they abortion ban. But this ain't just about one state, this affect everybody. The FDA make the rules for the whole country, so if they change how you get mifepristone, it change the game for everyone, whether you in a state that protect abortion or one that ban it.
Since Roe v. Wade got overturned, more folks been turnin' to medication abortion, and a quarter of 'em doin' it through telemedicine. Some doctors say they still gonna offer telemedicine abortions wit' just misoprostol, but that method can be more painful and give you more side effects. But hey, at least misoprostol ain't gettin' touched, since it used for other stuff too.
These Democratic states, they speakin' up, sayin' the court should let states protect abortion access. And them old FDA heads, they backin' up the FDA's rules, sayin' they based on science. But at the end of the day, this about control. They try to control women's bodies, especially Black and brown women. We gotta stay woke and keep fightin' for our rights, ya dig?
