They Found Some Sh*t in That Yard: Kristin Smart Case Still Ain't Closed, Fam
Cali cops digging up dirt again in the Kristin Smart case – is this the real deal or just more smoke and mirrors?

Aight, so listen up, y'all. This Kristin Smart case, right? Been goin' on since forever. They finally found somethin' in the ground near where that dude Flores's moms stay. Word is, it might be human remains. Might be. We ain't holdin' our breath.
On May 7th, 2026, they had them scientist types out there, scoopin' up soil samples. The sheriff, Ian Parkinson, came out and said, “We can’t call it Kristin, but there’s evidence to support human remains – there at one time.” Translation: they found some bones. Could be anybody's bones. Ain't nobody ID'd nothin' yet.
Kristin Smart went missin' back in '96. She was at Cal Poly, went to a party, and poof, she was gone. Folks been sayin' Flores did her in, tried to get at her and it went wrong. He was the last person seen with her, which is never a good look, know what I'm sayin'?
They locked up Flores and his pops back in '21. The DA claimed Flores buried her at his dad's spot and then moved the body. The pops walked, but the son got 25 to life in '22. So he's payin', but still no Kristin, ya dig?
Judge made Flores pay the family over $350K in '24. That's chump change compared to the pain they feelin'. But it's somethin', I guess.
This podcast called 'Your Own Backyard' helped crack the case by puttin' in work. Salute to them folks for diggin' up the truth when the cops couldn't get it done. Real talk, sometimes it takes folks from the outside to shake things up and keep it 100.
Parkinson askin' for patience? Man, they been searchin' for Kristin for 30 years! How much more patience they want? He said, “Until we have Kristin, everything is still wide open.” Translation: They still clueless, but tryin' to look like they doin' somethin'.
Bottom line is, the Smart family still hurtin'. They need closure. This bone thing might be a step in the right direction, but let's see what the DNA say. Until then, ain't nothin' changed. Still waitin' for justice, still waitin' for answers. Keep it real, y'all. No cap.
